Jesse F. Lamb

Since 1999, I have been working primarily as a zooplankton taxonomist.  I joined EcoFOCI in November, 2015 after many years working on the zooplankton community off the Oregon and Washington coasts.  My main interest is how climate change affects zooplankton ecology and upper trophic levels supported by the zooplankton community. My current focus is the analysis of juvenile diets of commercially important fish species, which provides a direct trophic link of energy transfer between zooplankton and fish communities.  At EcoFOCI, I use my taxonomic expertise to identify both the zooplankton community and the stomach contents of larval and juvenile fish of the Gulf of Alaska, Bering Sea, and Arctic.
